Respondents in both petitions PRAYER in W.P.(MD).No.6037 of 2018:- Writ Petition - filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the third respondents 1 to 3 to grant qualification approval and consequently pass order approving the appointment of the petitioner as Lecturer/Assistant Professor Botany in the Sarah Tucker College, Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli District, from 29.05.2009 with all salary, emoluments and attendant benefits in so far as the petitioner is concerned. PRAYER in W.P.(MD).No.6038 of 2018:- Writ Petition - filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent Nos.
1 to 3 to grant qualification approval and consequently pass order approving the appointment of the petitioner as Lecturer/Assistant Professor Physics in the Sarah Tucker College, Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli District, from 29.05.2009 with all salary, emoluments and attendant benefits in so far as the petitioner is concerned.

Mr.A.K.Manikkam Special Government Pleader COMMON O R D E R Both the writ petitioners seek Mandamus directing the official respondents (i.e.,) R1 to R3 to grant qualification approval and consequential approval of their appointments as lecturers in Sarah Tucker College, Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli District.
2. The learned counsel for the fourth respondent/University would submit that pending the writ petition, qualification approval has been granted by Manonmaniam Sundaranar University on 13.03.2019 and the petitioners appointments' have also been consequently approved by the third respondent/Joint Director of College Education on 11.03.2020.
3. These writ petitions are thus closed, recording the aforesaid. Incidentally, the approval granted is said to be subject matter of challenge in W.A.No.2018 of 2021. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
