Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third and fourth respondents to permit the petitioner to continue to serve as vocational instruction at (accountancy and auditing) at 4th respondent school and consequently direct the third and fourth respondents to disburse service and monetary benefits from 07.08.2023 till date.

ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed by a vocational instructor working in the third respondent school seeking a mandamus to direct the third and fourth respondents to permit the petitioner to continue to serve as vocational instructor.

2. According to the learned Counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, he was orally suspended with effect from 07.08.2023, and he was not permitted to continue his service.

3. Pending writ petition, the order of suspension dated 07.08.2023 has been revoked and the petitioner has been permitted to join duty with effect from 06.01.2025. Therefore, nothing survives to be adjudicated in this writ petition. As far as the prayer relating to regularizing the period of suspension, it is for the management to consider the same and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

4. With the above said observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 09.01.2025 Index : Yes/No Speaking/Non-Speaking order gvn 3/4
