O R D E R

The present Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of the property comprised in Survey No.199/9, measuring an extent of 53.1 cents, situated at Erachakulam Village, Thovalai Taluk, Kanyakumari District, based on the Sale Deed registered as Document No.1985 of 2016 dated 13.06.2016 on the file of the SubRegistrar Office, Kottaram, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 26.03.2026.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the Government of Tamilnadu appearing for the respondents.

3. This Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, is directing the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 26.03.2026, after issuing notice to the Page No. 2 of 4

petitioner as well as the rival claimants, if any, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. While considering the petitioner's representation, the Sale Deed registered as Document No. 1985 of 2016 dated 13.06.2016 shall also be taken into account.

4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
