This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to grant permission to fix the hourly mantra Clock in Arulmigu Sri Patrakaliyamman Temple at Mattaparai, Ramarajapuram, Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District on the basis of the representation given by the petitioner dated 16.08.2022 and 24.08.2022.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Sakthi Kumar, learned Government Advocate (Crl. side), appearing for the respondents.
3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (crl. side) appearing for the respondents submitted that, now the temple is under renovation and during the renovation work, they removed the Mantra clock with assurance that after completion of renovation work they put it back. The statement is recorded. 2/4
4. Recording the same, the Mantra clock is already in the temple and hence, the petitioner is permitted to put up the Mantra clock after completing renovation work in the temple.
