O R D E R

This Court, by its order, dated 28.09.2020, issued a direction to the respondents to grant approval to the appointment of the petitioner upon satisfaction of the fact that the petitioner has been promoted /appointed in the sanctioned vacancy alone. However, in the present case, since the petitioner appointment is not in sanctioned vacancy, his approval was rejected by the District Educational Officer, Trichirapalli, vide order dated 19.01.2023. Hence, there is no wilful disobedience. Accordingly, this Contempt Petition stands closed.
