2.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that on account of the theft committed in the house of the petitioner, the petitioner has lost 41⁄2 sovereigns of gold and an amount of Rs.50,000/-, a complaint is given by the petitioner on 05.09.2022 and a case in Crime No.111 of 2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 457 and 380 IPC was registered, but there is no substantial progress in the investigation, thereby sought for suitable directions. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) on the other hand submits that there were no CCTV cameras in the house of the petitioner and also the neighbouring places and the petitioner has not given any clue as to the suspects and submitted that the police would expedite the investigation and file the charge sheet shortly.

4.Considering the circumstances, while directing the petitioner to approach the police to give details whatever available with him in respect of the alleged offence, the respondent police are directed to expedite the investigation and complete the same within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
