O R D E R

The petitioner prays for writ of mandamus directing the second respondent not to indulge in 'katta panchayat' on the complaint of the third respondent.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the third respondent had given a complaint against the petitioner and others and the same was registered in Crime No. 13/2018 on the file of the District Crime Branch, Thoothukudi District. Thereafter, the investigation was conducted and final report also filed and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.890/2022 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Thoothukudi, in which the petitioner is also arrayed as A2.

In view of the action taken by the second respondent, which has resulted in filing of final report in C.C.No.890/2022 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Thoothukudi, nothing survives in this writ petition for further adjudication. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
