ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for issuing a direction to the respondents to grant permission and police protection conducting the Varushabishegam Festival in Arulmigu Sri Ayyanar Temple at Nemmeli Village, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukkottai District, scheduled to be held on 12.09.2019, under their supervision, on the basis of the representation of the petitioner, dated 26.08.2019.
2. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
3. According to the learned Public Prosecutor, there was a dispute between the petitioner and the 6th respondent, for which, a complaint has been lodged and the 4th respondent conducted a Peace Committee Meeting, where both of them appeared and settled the issues. Accordingly, they jointly conducted Aadi festival for the temple viz., Arulmigu Sri Ayyanar Temple at Nemmeli Village, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukkottai District. Thereafter, again there was a dispute arose between both parties. Now, the petitioner sent a representation, dated 26.08.2019 seeking permission and protection to conduct Varushabishegam Festival in Arulmigu Sri Ayyanar Temple at Nemmeli Village, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukkottai District scheduled to be held on 12.09.2019. It is still pending on the file of the 5th respondent herein. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition before this Court.
4. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the 5th respondent to conduct an enquiry on the representation of the petitioner dated 26.08.2019, after issuing notice to the 6th respondent and pass appropriate orders on merits and in according with law, forthwith.
5. This writ petition is disposed of with the above observations and directions. No costs.
