ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed seeking orders to punish the contemnor for the deliberate and willful disobedience of the order passed in Crl.O.P(MD)No.1294 of 2023, dated 24.01.2023. 1/4

2. In pursuance of the direction of this Court, the respondent/contemnor has filed counter affidavit.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that FIR came to be registered in Crime No.278 of 2022 for the offence under Sections 406, 409 and 420 of IPC and that the investigation is pending.

4. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the petition may be closed.

5. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) and also the learned counsel for the petitioner and taking note of the registration of the FIR, the Contempt Petition is closed. 05.12.2023 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet : Yes/No das 2/4
