ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by her dated 05.03.2025, within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. According to the petitioner, a property with an extent of 14 cents in Survey number 196/15C, situated in A.Nedungulam Group, Kadaladi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, was settled by petitioner's father in favour of petitioner and her husband Thanikodi. However, in the revenue records, the extent of the property is wrongly mentioned as 3.70 cents instead of 14 cents. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation before the respondent on 05.03.2025 seeking necessary rectification in the revenue records and the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

3. Learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondent will submit that pursuant to the appeal submitted by the

petitioner, the respondent issued an enquiry notice in his proceeding in Na.Ka.B10/8600/2025 dated 10.07.2025, fixing date of enquiry as 29.08.2025.

4. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondent is directed to dispose of the proceedings initiated by him in Na.Ka.B10/8600/2025 dated 10.07.2025 within a period of twelve weeks from 29.08.2025, after issuing notice to petitioner and other interested parties.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
