PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.334 of 2019 on the file of the respondent ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.

2. The petitioner is in custody since 13.07.2019 for the offences punishable under sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(ii) of IPC @ 307@ 120(b) and 302 of IPC, in Crime No.334 of 2019 on the file of the respondent police. He seeks bail. 3.The defacto complainant Sarath Kumar fell in love with one Malathi and got married to her on 06.07.2019. They belong to different communities. When the defacto complainant came to Okkur to his father's house on 12.07.2019, it was informed to the uncle of the wife of the defacto complainant namely Nagarajan. CRL OP(MD). No.12647 of 2019 and attacked the defacto complainant's father and also his brother Jegan. In the attack, the defacto complainant's father suffered serious injuries and died later. His brother Jegan also suffered injuries. In this regard, Crime No.334 of 2019 was registered on the file of the Sivagangai Town Police Station on 13.07.2019 at about 02.00 hours. The petitioner surrendered before the Judicial Magistrate, Thiruppathur on 18.07.2019. The injured witness identified the petitioner in the Test Identification Parade. A1 is still absconding.

4.Since the specific overt act of attacking Jegan has been made against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
