ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders, to direct the third respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.518 of 2023 pending on his file and file final report within time as stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.518 of 2023 and that the investigation is in progress. Hence, he seeks three months time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the third respondent police is directed to 2/4

complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.518 of 2023 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
