ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the third respondent to survey and demarcate the property comprised in Survey No.297/30A to an extent of 9.71 Acres of land situated at Naripaiyur Village, Kadaladi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, by considering his representation, dated 28.04.2025.
2. According to the petitioner, 9.71 acres of land in the above
mentioned survey number belongs to a society called ''Naripaiyur Kaarana Maravar Sangam''. The office-bearers of the society, namely, V.K. Chithambara Nataraja Thevar and K.S.Jeyabalan obtained patta in respect of a portion of the property belonging to the society and hence, as on today, in the revenue records, the total extent belonging to the society is mentioned as 7.43 acres instead of 9.71 acres. Therefore, the petitioner submitted an instant representation before the first respondent, seeking survey of the property and restoration of revenue records for the entire extent of 9.71 acres. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.
3. The learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents, would submit that the competent authority to consider the representation of the petitioner is the second respondent.
4. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 28.04.2025, and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve weeks, after issuing notice to petitioner, the office-bearers of the above mentioned society, and other interested parties.
5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. 17.07.2025 NCC :
