ORDER

Seeking to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to take necessary action on the petitioner's complaint dated 17.03.2026 against the 3rd and 4th respondents, this writ petition is filed.

2. Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for by the petitioner herein, notice to the respondents 3 and 4 is dispensed with.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had lodged a complaint as against the 3rd and 4th respondents with respect to a money transaction to a tune of Rs.35 crores, where the petitioner has been defrauded. However, no action has been taken. Hence, this writ petition is filed. 2/5

The learned Government Advocate submitted that as many as four witnesses have already been enquired and the petitioner has already filed a suit in O.S.No.37 of 2026 on the file of the learned Sub Court, Tirunelveli, and the same is closed on 27.05.2026 due to the non-cooperation of the petitioner.

5. In this regard, the respondent police is directed to reopen the complaint, put the petitioner as well as the private respondents on notice under section 64 BNSS, and afford an opportunity of hearing and thereafter conclude an enquiry within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to extend all cooperation and produce all necessary documents to substantiate his complaint.
