This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in pursuant to the impugned FIR in Cr.No.42 of 2013 on the file of the first respondent in so far as the petitioners are concerned. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent would submit that after completing the investigation in Crime No.42 of 2013, final report has already been filed as early as on 30.06.2015. 3.In view of the above, the prayer sought for in the petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirumayam, Pudukottai, is directed to take cognizance on the final report filed by the first respondent in Crime No.42 of 2013 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already taken cognizance.
