O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation to grant patta in Re-Sy. No.244/1 now, corresponding UDR Sy. No.134/1 for Plots Nos.2, 3, 7, 8, 9, 10, 14, 15, 16 and 19 measuring an extent of 50 cents along with Re-Sy. No.251/6 now, corresponding UDR Sy. No.143/6 measuring an extent of 6 cents, on the basis of the representation dated 03.04.2023.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents, submitted that the third respondent would conduct and conclude the inquiry on the petitioner's representation dated 03.04.2023, after issuing notice to the petitioner and all other necessary parties. The third respondent would then pass appropriate orders in accordance with the law, within the time frame stipulated by this Court. 2/5

In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent/Tahsildar to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.04.2023 on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The representation shall be considered and disposed of after conducting an inquiry. The third respondent is further directed to afford a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and to all other persons who may be affected by such decision during the course of the inquiry. In the event of any rival claims, the same can be agitated before the competent civil court. There shall be no order as to costs.
