This Writ Petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondents to release the petitioner's vehicle, namely Hero Honda CD Dawn, bearing registration No.TN-55-J-7349 from the illegal custody of the 3rd respondent police and to hand over the above vehicle to the petitioner by considering his representation dated 07.06.2018.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that the vehicle namely Hero Honda CD Dawn bearing registration No.TN-55-J-7349 was seized from the place and it was kept idle by the third respondent. Now on the claim of the petitioner, the said vehicle was handed over to the petitioner on 16.09.2019 itself.
