ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 09.06.2025 filed by the petitioner seeking cancellation of patta in Patta No.777 issued in favour of one Sisters of Sacred Heart Charitable Society, in respect of the property situated in Survey No.309/4, Keelaarasaradi Village, Ottapidaram Taluk, 2.Heard the arguments of Mr.P.Bala Senthil Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.According to the petitioner, the subject property originally belonged to his family and patta has been wrongly issued in favour of the above mentioned Society, which is not connected with the subject

property. Therefore, the petitioner filed an appeal before the first respondent on 09.06.2025 seeking cancellation of patta issued in favour of the above said Society. The said appeal has not been taken up for consideration till date. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court. 4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the appeal preferred by the petitioner will be considered and disposed of in accordance with law. 5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 09.06.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, the above mentioned Society and other interested parties. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
