ORDER

Mr. Aayiram K. Selvakumar, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Tirunelveli Corporation would bring to the notice of this court that the petitioner has passed away on 24.08.2020 in harness. With the passing away of the petitioner, the mandamus sought also loses its efficacy and this writ petition is closed. Liberty is however granted to the legal heirs of the deceased petitioner to pursue any claim with regard to service benefits of the deceased petitioner that they believe they are entitled to by way of representation before the respondent corporation. The writ petition is closed. No costs.
