ORDER

The petitioner is an accused in CC Nos.205 of 2013 and 598 of 2013 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate (Fast Track Court at Magisterial Level), Karur. To quash the same, this criminal original petitions have been filed. The learned counsel for the petitioner would contend that the dispute between the parties is purely civil in nature and that the petitioner never borrowed the amounts in question from the respective complainants. 2.I am of the view that these defences will have to be projected only in a regular trial and that this is not sufficient for quashing the impugned proceedings. in Crl OP(MD)No.12514 of 2014 these petitions stand dismissed. It is made clear that this court has not gone into the merits of the matter. All the defences available to the petitioner are left open. Connected miscellaneous petitions also stand dismissed.
