ORDER

This Writ Petition is disposed of at the time of admission with the consent of the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.

2. The petitioner is the Managing Trustee of AR Rahman Trust, which had approached the second respondent for renovating "Jalwari Makkan Shah Syed Ibrahim Waqf".

3. It appears that a resolution was also passed by the second respondent on 01.03.2022, content of which communicated to the petitioner on 03.03.2022.

4. It is further case of the petitioner that the pursuant to the aforesaid resolution, dated 01.03.2022 and the communication, dated 03.03.2022, the renovation has been carried out by the petitioner in the Wakf property. 2/5

5. It is, however, submitted that the wakf does not have convenience rooms and toilets, which are necessary for the convenience of the devotees visiting the wakf. Hence, the petitioner has sent a representation on 13.06.2025.

6. It is further submitted that the Muthavali of the concerned Wakf has, however, started the construction and therefore, eventually hamper the construction of the convenience rooms and toilets, to which the petitioner's offers to put up in the aforesaid wakf.

7. The learned Standing Counsel for the second respondent submits that the representation of the petitioner, dated 13.06.2025 will be considered after due notice to the Muthavali of the aforesaid Wakf.

Recording the above submission, there shall a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's aforesaid representation, dated 13.06.2025 and disposed of the same after due notice to the Muthavali of the aforesaid Wakf within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
