Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records in G.O.Ms.No.408 Finance (pension) Department dated 25.08.2009 on the file of 1st respondent and quash the same as void, illegal, incompetent , unconstitutional and direct the respondents to extend the benefit of pension under old pension scheme to the petitioner and applying the Rule 11(2) of Tamil Nadu Pension Rules, 1978 for the purpose of calculation of retirement benefits after superannuation.

ORDER
When the matter was taken up for hearing, the petitioner has circulated a letter dated 27.03.2022 instructing his Counsel to withdraw the writ petition and based on the letter, the learned counsel for the petitioner has circulated a letter dated 29.03.2022 seeking permission to withdraw the Writ Petition. Based on the letter, the petitioner is granted permission to withdraw the Writ Petition.
2. Hence the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
