O RDER This petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police to expedite the investigation in Crime No.275 of 2023 within the time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the accused in this case, who has taken the property of the petitioner Mosque on lease, has not only left the property after expiry of the lease period but also cut away the trees in the said property. On a complaint given by the petitioner Mosque, the respondent police have registered a case. It is submitted further that the accused in this case is a highly influenced person, thereby sought for expediting the investigation. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) on the other hand submits that so far the accused in this case is at large and in case if the petitioner gets any clue in respect of the whereabouts of the accused and if it is informed to the respondent police, the police will take immediate steps to get him arrested and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) has requested 3 months time to complete the investigation.

4.By recording the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Petition is disposed of directing the respondent police to complete the investigation and file the charge sheet before the concerned Court as quickly as possible, not later than 3 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
