PRAYER: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act,1971 praying this Court to initiate contempt proceedings against the Contemnor/Second respondent and punish him for the wilful disobedience of the order passed by 1/5

This Contempt Petition is filed to initiate contempt proceedings against the Contemnor/Second respondent and punish him for the wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court made in W.P(MD)No.31500 of 2024, dated 19.2.2025 under the Contempt of Courts Act.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.When the Contempt Petition is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents would submit that pursuant to the direction issued by this Court in the above Writ Petition, dated 19.02.2025, enquiry was conducted by the first respondent in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.3585/2013/Aa2, dated 3.4.2025 and necessary orders were passed for deposit of the compensation amount under 2/5

Section 77(2) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition , Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 , in view of the title dispute.

4.Recording the above said submission made by the learned Additional Government pleader appearing for the respondents, the Contempt Petition is closed.
