Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records in G.O.408 Finance (Pension) Department dated 25.08.2009, on the file of first respondent and quash the same as void, illegal, incompetent, unconstitutional and direct the respondents to extend the benefit of pension under old Pension Scheme to the petitioner and applying the Rule 11(2) of Tamil Nadu Pension Rules, 1978 for the purpose of calculation of retirement benefits after superannuation.
