ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 29.04.2026.

2.Heard Mr.S.Vellaichamy, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.R.Ramasamy, learned Counsel for the State, who accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 to 3, and Mr.S.Vidhya Sagar, learned counsel, who accepts notice on behalf of respondents 4 and 5.

3.By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner preferred an appeal before the first respondent on 29.04.2026 challenging the order dated 25.03.2026 passed by the third respondent. However, the said appeal has not yet been disposed of. Aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the first respondent, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present Writ Petition.

5.Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, and without going into the merits of the matter, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 29.04.2026, after affording sufficient opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any rival claimants, if any, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law. Such exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
