ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the revision petitioner. 2.The revision petitioner is a landlord. He filed R.L.T.O.P.No.156 of 2021 on the file of Principal District Munsif, Madurai Town for evicting the respondent herein. Section 36(6) of the Tamil Nadu Regulation of Rights and Responsibilities of Landlords and Tenants Act, 2017 is as follows:

"36. Procedure of Rent Court and Rent Tribunal

(6) (a) All applications under clauses (a), (b), (c), (e), (f) and (h) of sub-section (2) of section 21 shall be decided within 90 days of fi ling of application to the Rent Court;

(b) Applications under clauses (d) and (g) of subsection (2) of section 21 shall be decided within 30 days of fi ling of application to the Rent Court." 3.I direct the learned Principal District Munsif, Madurai to dispose of R.L.T.O.P.No.156 of 2021 on merits and in accordance with law 2/4

within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. 4.This Civil Revision Petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
