Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant benefit of the Special Reservation Quota under Wards category of retired ministerial staff to the petitioner as per G.O.Ms.No.67 Home (Police-3) Department, dated 22.01.2010 in the recruitment for the Post of Grade II Police Constables (Men, Women and 3rd Gender), Grade II Jail Warders (Men, Women) and Fireman for the year 20172018 Notification No.217 published on 28.12.2017 and consequently direct the 4th respondent to issue ward certificate to the petitioner to enable him to participate in the recruitment for the Post of Grade II Police Constables (Men, Women and 3rd Gender), Grade II Jail Warders (Men, Women) and Fireman for the year 2017-2018 Notification No.217 published on 28.12.2017.

ORDER
The petitioner seeks a mandamus directing the respondents, that is, the State/R1, the Director General of Police/R2, the Uniformed Services Recruitment Board/R3 and the Commissioner of Police/R4 to grant benefit of special reservation quota under Wards category of retired ministerial staff as per G.O.Ms.No.67 Home (Police-3) Department, dated 22.03.2010 in the recruitment for the post of Grade II Police Constables for the year 2017-18 and Notification No.217 dated 28.12.2017.
2.Mr.M.Gnanagurunathan, learned counsel for the petitioner fairly brings to the notice of this Court that the issue raised has been held adverse in the case of K.Sathish v. State of Tamilnadu and others in W.A(MD).No.1241 of 2017, (order dated 13.02.2018). Review Application bearing No.192 of 2018 seeking review of the aforesaid order has also been dismissed, by order, dated 13.01.2019.
3. In light of the identity of facts, circumstances and legal position between the cases of the present petitioner and the petitioner in the case cited supra, the prayer, as sought for in this writ petition is not liable to be granted. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
