ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to number and dispose of the revision petition filed by the petitioner on 16.04.2025.

2.Heard the arguments of Mr.R.G.Shankar Ganesh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.S.Jeya Priya, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2. Since no adverse order is passed against the third respondent, notice to the third respondent is dispensed with.

3.By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4.It is the case of the petitioner that she obtained patta in respect of the properties situated in Old Survey Nos.325/4 and 325/7 and New

Survey Nos.431/3 and 431/9 at Velodu Village, Dindigul East Taluk, Dindigul District, based on the settlement deed executed in his favour on 06.03.1992. The third respondent filed an application before the second respondent seeking cancellation of the patta issued in favour of the petitioner. The said application was allowed by the second respondent and the patta has been ordered to be restored in the name of old pattadhars. Aggrieved by the said order, the petitioner preferred a revision before the first respondent on 16.04.2025 and the same has not been numbered and taken up for consideration till date. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

5.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the revision petition filed by the petitioner has already been numbered and the date of hearing is fixed as 24.07.2025. 6.In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, is inclined to direct the first respondent to dispose of the revision filed by the petitioner

within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and third respondent.
