This criminal original petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in M.C.No.20 of 2014 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Karaikudi, filed under Sections 18(a) and 19(a) of the Domestic Violence Act.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that now the petitioner and the second respondent, who are husband and wife living together and she is not pursuing the criminal original petition.
