This petition has been filed seeking to quash the criminal proceedings in C.C.No.80 of 2014 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Manaparai, Trichy District.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the trial in C.C.No.80 of 2014 is already over and the learned Judicial Magistrate, Manaparai, Trichy District, by judgment dated 18.03.2019, convicted the first petitioner/A1 for an offence under Section 248(2) of I.P.C. and sentenced her to pay a fine of Rs.100/- in default to undergo simple imprisonment for two months and convicted the third petitioner/A3 for an offence under Section 294

(2) of I.P.C. and sentenced him to pay a fine of Rs.100/- in default https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

to undergo simple imprisonment for one month and acquitted the the second petitioner/A2.

3. Considering the fact that already the criminal case is over, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition. Accordingly, the criminal original petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. The Legal Aid counsel is entitled to get a remuneration from the Tamil Nadu Legal Services Committee, Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, Madurai, as per Rules.
