ORDER

The petitioner with a grievance that his complaint, dated 13.03.2025 has not been enquired by the respondent police has filed this writ petition.

2.Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4 submits that the complaint of this petitioner was enquired and the same was closed, as the issue is with regard to the land dispute between the petitioner and the private respondents, by advising the respective parties to approach the concerned Civil Court.

3.This Court is unable to understand how the complaints of civil in nature are entertained by the police officials and also those complaints were closed by them, without registering any case either as FIR(if cognizable offence is made out) or as a preliminary enquiry in CSR. Be that as it may, the respondent police is directed to furnish a copy of the closure report to the petitioner, to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
