ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the 1st respondent to direct the 2nd respondent to effect mutation of Town Survey Land Register pertains to the subject property by considering the petitioner's representation dated 04.07.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Gangatharam, learned Government Advocate who takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2.

3. By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2/6

4. The petitioner claims that the subject property in Old Town Survey No.71/2PT, and New Survey No.4/2 belongs to him and his brother as per the recitals in the registered Partition Deed dated 26.11.1977.

5. The petitioner submitted a representation on 04.07.2025 before the respondents 1 and 2 seeking mutation of revenue records. Based on the above said Partition Deed, the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

6. The learned Government Advocate who takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 04.07.2025, will be considered in accordance with law.

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.07.2015 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of 3/6

this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, 3rd respondent and the legal heirs of the other brother of the petitioner namely Thirumalai.

8. The writ petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
