Order : This criminal miscellaneous petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S. AMEER HUSSAIN.M.J, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.A.ALBERT JAMES, Government Advocate (Crl. side) on behalf of the Respondent, the Court made the following order:- 1/4

This petition has been filed to modify the condition as 'appear before the Inspector of Police, Mattuthavani Police Station, Madurai District' instead of 'the petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m for a period of three weeks' imposed against the petitioner in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.11674 of 2024, dated 26.07.2024.

2.Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3.In view of the fact that in yet another case, already the petitioner was directed to reported before the inspector of Police, Mattuthavani Police Station, Madurai District. It is not possible for the petitioner to comply with the conditions in two different stations.

4.Considering the same, the condition imposed upon the petitioner, dated 26.07.2024, is modified to the effect that the petitioner is directed to report before the Inspector of Police, Mattuthavani Police Station, Madurai District, for a period of three weeks from today and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation. All other conditions in the said order, dated 26.07.2024, shall remain unaltered. 2/4

5.The Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered accordingly. 6.Time granted by this Court to comply with the condition imposed vide order dated 26.07.2024 is extended for a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
