PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the fourth respondent District Educational Officer to approve forthwith the appointment of K.ARavind Kumar as Record Clerk in the petitionerschool w.e.f 23.11.2017 with all attendant benefits including the arrears of salary and allowance.

The petitioner has prayed for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the District Educational Officer/fourth respondent to approve forthwith the appointment of one K.Aravind Kumar as the Record Clerk in the petitioner school. The approval is sought with effect from 23.11.2017 with all attendant benefits including arrears of salary and allowances.

In fact, pending Writ Petition, the fourth respondent has, in proceedings bearing No.Che.Mu.Aa.No.A3-6578/2017 dated 23.05.2018, considered the request of the petitioner school for approval and has approved the appointment of K.Aravind Kumar as sought. The approval has been made subject to any order to be passed in this Writ Petition.

3. Since approval has been granted by proceedings dated 23.05.2018, mandamus as sought for by the petitioner school stands achieved and there remains no further impediment thereto. Hence, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
