ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The respondent police registered a case as against the petitioner in Crime No.272 of 2024 for the offence under Sections 4(1)(a) and 4(1-A) of TN Prohibition Act, and remanded him into judicial custody on 05.06.2024. Therefore, the petitioner has filed this petition seeking bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in illegal possession of 31 Golden Eagle Brandy bottles, 99 MC Lene Brandy, 32 Golden Choice Brandy bottles and 99 Sea mens Brandy bottles, which are measuring about 180ml (each) with poisonous smell. Hence the case. 3.When the earlier petition filed by the petitioner in Crl.O.P(MD)No.9450 of 2024 came up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor reported that the petitioner is having so many previous cases in his credit. Considering the bad antecedent of the petitioner, the earlier petition was dismissed.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the nature of offence, the antecedent of the petitioner and also considering that there is no change in circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant any relief to the petitioner. 2/3
