ORDER : The Court made the following order:- The petitioner, who is arrayed as A3 apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 120(B), 147, 148, 448, 2949b), 324 and 307 IPC r/w section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act, 1998, in Crime No.194 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that due to previous dispute, the accused persons attacked the de-facto complainant with deadly weapons and caused injuries to him. Hence, the complaint. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 3.Seeking anticipatory bail, this petitioner, who is arrayed as A3 is before this court.

4.Heard both sides.

5.The earlier anticipatory bail application was dismissed by this court on the ground that there was amputation of the legs, because of injuries inflicted upon the de-facto complainant. This is the second anticipatory bail application filed on the ground that the injured was discharged from the hospital and there is no amputation of the legs.

6.But however, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor has produced the photographs showing the nature of the injuries sustained by the de-facto complainant, wherein we find that both legs have been severally assaulted and broken. 7.When such a serious allegation has been made, the petitioners are not entitled for the discretionary relief of anticipatory bail. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed and the petitioner is directed to surrender before the respondent and seek regular bail before the concerned court in the manner known to law.
