O RDER This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the FIR in Crime No.192 of 2022, registered on the file of the Inspector of Police, Dindigul Town West Police Station, Dindigul District.

2. The Learned Counsel for the Petitioners seek to quash the FIR on the ground that after registration of the FIR, there was a compromise in the Village. It is his further submission that the Petitioners are working in a Private Concern. Therefore, he seeks to quash the FIR on the ground that the Petitioners and the Defacto Complainant are belonging to the same Village.

3. The Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the first respondent vehemently objects to quash the FIR stating that the first Petitioner is having more than five cases pending against him and the present FIR is a recent one and the Investigation is also still in the initial stage.

4. Considering the vehement objections raised by the Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, considering the fact that there are five previous cases are pending against the first Petitioner and the FIR is of 2/4

the year 2022. The Investigation is still in the initial stage, the submission of the Learned Counsel for the Petitioners that the Petitioners and the Defacto Complainant are belonging to the same Village and they have compromised the matter between them, does not inspire the confidence of this Court. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to entertain this Criminal Original Petition.

5.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed and the Investigating Officer is directed to proceed with further investigation. 05.09.2022 Index : Yes/No Internet : Yes/No TM To 1.The Inspector of Police, Dindigul Town West Police Station, Dindigul District.
