ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 B.N.S.S., seeking orders to direct the first respondent to change the investigation of the case in Crime No.147 of 2022 on the file of the third respondent to some other police station pertaining to the electrocution death of petitioner's son namely Santhakumar based on the representation of the petitioner dated 31.03.2024.

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that FIR came to be registered in Crime No.147 of 2022 on 21.11.2022 for the offence under Section 304(2) IPC and that they have examined 8 witnesses so far and are awaiting for viscera report. Hence, he seeks two months time to complete the investigation.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the third respondent is directed to complete 2/4

the investigation and file final report in Crime No.147 of 2022 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the second respondent is directed to monitor the investigation.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
