PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to take necessary steps to incorporate the Natham Survey No.46/1B2D which is situated in Kattuparamakudi Village, Paramakudi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, in the official website of the Tamil Nadu Registration Department by considering the Petitioner's representation dated 30.06.2025. ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to take necessary steps to incorporate the Natham Survey No.46/1B2D which is situated in Kattuparamakudi Village, Paramakudi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, in the official website of the Tamil Nadu Registration Department by considering the petitioner's representation dated 30.06.2025.
2. The learned Special Government Pleader submitted that already necessary process has been initiated by the Revenue Department. After changing the same in the revenue records, the Registering Authority will undertake further 2/5
action to incorporate the correct classification.
3. In view of the above, this Court is directing the Tahsildar / second respondent to consider the petitioner's claim and pass appropriate orders within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereafter, the Sub-Regsitrar / fifth respondent is directed to consider the same within a period of one month therefrom.
4. With the above said directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
