O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed for a direction to the 1st respondent to direct the respondents 2 to 5 to take action against the 6th respondent for transmitting cable signal in violation of the cable TV Regulation Act based on the petitioner's representation dated 01.03.2018.

2.The petitioner is a cable TV operator since 2000 and is running his business by obtaining license in LCO No.24465. While so, the 6th respondent, by stealing the pay channels, illegally transmitting DTH signal to the petitioner's customers. Therefore, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD) No.6799 of 2018 the petitioner preferred a representation to the respondents on 01.03.2018 for taking against the 6th respondent. However, the said representation has not been considered so far and hence, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition. 3.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in the writ petition, without adverting into the merits of the matter, the competent authority is expected to take action based on the representation dated 01.03.2018 within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
