O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to provide adequate police protection to survey the petitioner's land in S.Nos.113/6C and 113/2A situated at Kamayampatti Group, Sivagangai District on the basis of the representation, dated 24.08.2022.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondents would submit that their enquiry reveals that there existed civil dispute between the petitioner and the adjoining owners. He would further submit that the petitioner as well as the adjoining owners have appeared before the respondent police for one hearing and thereafter, they have not chosen to appear.

3.It is seen from the records that the petitioner has submitted a representation, dated 24.08.2022 and on that basis, the present petition came to be filed.

4.In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to appear before the second respondent and on such appearance, the second respondent is directed to proceed in accordance with law.

5.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
