ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA,J.) The Habeas Corpus Petition is filed for a direction to the first and second respondents to produce the person or body of the petitioner's daughter namely V.Pavithra, D/o.Vallavan Ambalam, aged about 16 years before this Court and hand over the custody to the petitioner.

2.It is the case of the petitioner that her daughter aged about 16 years, had discontinued her studies and she was at home. While so, on 05.06.2025, at about 05.00 a.m., when the petitioner and her husband woke up and they found that their daughter was missing and they are unable to find out their daughter, the petitioner had given a complaint to the second respondent on 08.06.2025 and a 2/5

case in Crime No.278 of 2025 was registered. Since the respondents had not taken any action to secure the petitioner's daughter, the present Habeas Corpus Petition is filed.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents. 4.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.278 of 2025 was registered under Girl missing. During the course of investigation, it was found that the third respondent had abducted the minor victim girl and taken away and when the said Dhinesh had brought her to the village, the missing girl was secured on 14.07.2025.

5.Today the missing girl is produced before this Court. 3/5

6.We enquired the missing girl, she stated that she had gone along with with the third respondent and she is known to him and they are from the same village and now she had expressed her willingness to go along with the petitioner/mother.

7.Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
