This petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. seeking for a direction to respondent No.2 Police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of a complaint allegedly given by respondent No.3.
2. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that respondent No.3 is his wife and she filed a complaint with false allegations and basing on which, the respondent Police have been harassing him.
3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) on the other hand, submits that, the complaint filed by respondent No.3 is registered as C.S.R.No.478 of 2023 and enquiry is going on and undertook to complete the enquiry within short time.
4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, directing respondent Nos.1 and 2 Police to complete the enquiry in respect of C.S.R.No.478 of 2023 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 07.08.2023 NCC:yes/no Index:yes/no Internet:yes/no tsg 2/4
