Crime No.111 of 2023 on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant is working as a Chief Protection Officer. On 02.07.2023, when the defacto complainant's employees were returning from Kanchirangulam Colony, the petitioner along with the other accused waylaid the defacto complainant and robbed a sum of Rs.500 and also threatened them with dire consequences. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to comply any stringent condition that may be imposed by the Court.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that On 02.07.2023, when the defacto complainant's employees were returning from Kanchirangulam Colony, the petitioner along with the other accused waylaid the defacto complainant and robbed a sum of Rs.500 and also threatened them with dire consequences. He further submitted that again on 15.07.2023, the petitioner along with the other accused waylaid the defacto complainant's employees and also tried to rob the mobile phone.

5. Considering the gravity of the offence and also considering the conduct of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
