Respondents PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the first respondent and his officials that not to harass the petitioner and her family members in the guise of enquiry based on the complaint of the second respondent and consequently direct the first respondent that not to interfere into the land dispute in the land in Survey No.245/7D2 situating in the Melur Town, Melur Taluk, Madurai District.

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent and his officials that not to harass the petitioner and her family members in the guise of enquiry based on the complaint of the second respondent and consequently direct the first respondent not to interfere into the land dispute in the land in Survey No.245/7D2 situating in the Melur Town, Melur Taluk, Madurai District.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based upon the complaint given by the petitioner enquiry was conducted in C.No.973 of 2021 and during the course of enquiry it was found that it is a civil dispute between the parties and also advised them to measure the property and sort out their issue and on that basis it was closed on 26.10.2021. He has also circulated the closure report. 3.In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and the closure report since the complaint has https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No16275 of 2021 been closed, harassment at the hands of respondent police may not exists and the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.

4.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of as infructuous.
