ORDER

The petitioner has applied for a passport with the first respondent in Application No.MD01C5078095722 dated 10.10.2022. The first respondent has refused to issue a passport on the ground that he is involved in a case in Cr.No.159 of 2017 for the offence under Sections 109, 147, 148, 294(b), 307, 323, 324, 341 of IPC on the file of the second respondent. Therefore, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the first respondent submits that the petitioner was already issued with a passport and he has now applied for renewal of his passport.

3. The abovesaid fact that the petitioner was already issued with the passport, has not been disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition. Therefore, this writ petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh application for renewal of his passport along with correct particulars. No costs.
