ORDER:- This Petition coming on for hearing on this day in the caption for "Extension of time" and upon perusing the earlier order of this court dated 17.09.2019, and the requisition letter submitted by the Judicial Magistrate, (FAC - 1) Additional Mahila Court, Nagercoil vide the letter in D.No.92/2023 dated 25.01.2023, this Court made the following order:
This case has been listed today under the caption 'for extension of time' to dispose of the case in C.C.No.182 of 2014, which was renumbered as C.C. No.364 of 2018.
2.This Court already allowed the Criminal Original Petition by order dated 17.09.2019 and directed the trial Court to dispose of the case in C.C.No.364 of 2018 on the file of the learned Additional Mahila Court, (Fast Track Court No.I), Nagercoil, Kanniyakumari https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2
CRL OP(MD). No.17580 of 2014 District, within a period of five (5) months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. Now the learned Additional Mahila Judge, requests further time to dispose of the said case. 3.The learned counsel for the defacto complainant would submit that even though order was passed in 2019, because of absence of the Presiding Officer, it is getting delayed.
4. Considering the reasons assigned by the learned Additional Mahila Judge, (Fast Track Court No.I), Nagercoil, this Court is inclined to grant further time and accordingly, six (6) months time is granted for disposing C.C.No.364 of 2018 and the learned Additional Mahila Judge, (Fast Track Court No.I), Nagercoil, is directed to comply with the directions of this Court, without any further delay.
