ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the second respondent to expedite the enquiry pending on his file in O.Mu.No.3198302/2025G5, dated 30.04.2025.

2. The petitioner submitted an application seeking rectification of UDR records pertains to property situated in S.No.58/2B, A.Valayapatti Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District. Based on the said representation, the second respondent in his proceedings O.Mu.No.3198302/2025G5, dated 30.04.2025 called for report from the third respondent. Thereafter, there was no progress. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

3. Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be disposed of within the time stipulated by this Court. 2/5

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to complete the enquiry initiated by him in O.Mu.No.3198302/2025G5 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after issuing notice to the petitioner and other interested parties.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
