ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the third respondent to consider his representation dated 27.11.2024 seeking issuance of separate patta for an extent of 925 sq.ft. in Natham Survey No.630/8A1A in Ponnamaravathy West Village, Pudukkottai District, by considering petitioner's title document dated 29.10.1968. 2/6

Heard the arguments of Mr.N.Palaniyandi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.D.S.Nedunchezian, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 5 and Mrs.S.Jeya Priya, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the sixth respondent. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. According to the petitioner, the subject property was purchased by the petitioner's grandfather Krishnan Kutty under registered document dated 29.10.1968 from one Nagammal. Natham patta for the subject property stands in the name of Nagappa Chettiyar and Nagammal in Patta No.1108. Based on the title document, the petitioner submitted a representation seeking issuance of separate patta in his name. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

4. It is seen from the proceedings of the first respondent letter No.R3/9165105/2024 dated 18.12.2024 that the representation of the petitioner dated 27.11.2024 has already been forwarded to the third 3/6

respondent for appropriate action.

5. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.11.2024 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and other interested parties.
